🎨 Cricut Iron-On Lite in Kelly Green Review

Since I'm just getting started with Cricut Maker, I wanted to have accessories on hand. So my review is a Cricut newbie review. This roll of vinyl was packaged well, but the packaging doesn't say it's a 'lightweight' version. It just says "Iron" like my other new reels that weren't the "Lite" version. However, this is the color you would expect from navy blue, but obviously you can tell it apart from black.

I bought this HTV to make some shirts for my son's birthday. The amount you get for the price you pay is really small. The cutting was fine except I used the settings listed on the box and it still cut through the carbon paper. Weeding was also quite difficult compared to the cheap HTV I bought here for the black and white parts of my shirts. Applying it to shirts also turned out to be quite tricky. I had to suppress and reapply in several places. I would definitely not recommend this product…

I don't personally have a Cricut machine, but I do have a close friend. She was kind enough to let me make 5 shirts on her machine. Let me tell you, they turned out amazing! We have found that the transfer iron works best with no fabric between the iron and the transfer paper. We transferred the writing to a synthetic training material t-shirt, so I used a lower temperature iron to avoid burning the t-shirt and melting the paper.
