    Do not use for sharpening

    Bought based on other reviews and have a pair of CRKT knives. The tools themselves are very handy, ideal for disassembling knives. Using a pencil sharpener is a different story. I've tested the ceramic side with my EOD and blunted it to the point where my EOD is best used to bludgeon someone to death. Too bad, I expected so much more from CRKT. Also be very careful if you don't hold it straight it will scratch the surface of the blade.

    Fits my needs

    I bought this item for a specific purpose, to sharpen the edge of a dull blade when needed. I knew it wouldn't deliver razor sharpness. Spicy is what I get and need it for when I'm on the go. I'm going to razor sharp the blades with another tool specifically designed for this purpose. Magnetic TORX tools (T8 and T6) might be useful, although I think I'll swap them out for TORX bits of a different configuration. This item fits every TORX bit I have and holds them securely in place.

    This great tool is really handy for knife maintenance and it's so compact! You can carry this handy tool in your pocket or on your keychain. It comes with two types of knife sharpeners; Ceramic and carbon, it has two star-shaped sockets that will tighten most of the bolts and screws on your new pocket knives, among other things, it also has an opener for your favorite drink.     Excellent fantastic item. Have used it twice already, on the 2nd day I owned it. highlighted. Ideal for quick blade cleaning. The edge is not the same as that of a stone, but it is sharp and that's enough for field situations. I removed one of the torx bits and put in a Philips #2 as it's more useful to me.     If you carry a quality knife with you every day, you need one!

    I bought this tool primarily because I had a stretched clip on one of my HK blades that I carry with me every day. I figured I could use this tool to remove the clamp and bend it back a bit. It has arrived and works great! Within 5 minutes I fixed the clip. Then I spent a few more minutes and sharpened and cleaned it very well. The blade was damn close to what I had at the factory!     I find their blades to be of better steel than these. The device broke on the first use! (broke while rocking the bit for use) This looks like it could be a defect as one end appears plated and shows no fresh metal from the break. See image with red arrow pointing to end that appears to be plated and does not show fresh cracked metal.
