Very poor quality Best in Sport

This stand is so weak that when you straighten the wheel and spin the wheel you will notice the wheel moving left and right. And you won't be sure if it's the lack of truth or the flimsy plastic mounts making the wheel wobble.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Expandable

Do not buy! in cycling

Very light and thin, don't waste your money. I was skeptical at first, I don't need my wheels to perfect, but I've had better results by leaving the wheels on the bike and using zip ties and tape. It's not strong at all, no value because if you spend, say, $40 on shit, it's still overpriced shit, it won't cost a penny more than $3.65.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Unfashionable

This is good value for money. It does everything it needs from the right stand. I'm new to wheel alignment but I managed to correct a severe rear wheel wobble from about 15mm to less than 2mm in about an hour of repair. I would advise anyone seriously trying to test a wheel to get a spoke strain gauge alongside this dyno.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Compatible

Too wobbly - rim not fixable!

I bought this for a real rim and enjoy doing cycling tasks myself. But the problem is that it's too wobbly from side to side. So if you turn or even move the rim to find the next defect, the frame will move sideways and change the gap you're trying to minimize with the wrench! That makes TRUE RIM impossible! If it had more cross braces to make it stiffer laterally that would be great. So I fought him for a bike and got him back. :-(

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

In the end I was able to adjust the wheel just enough to stop the annoying click of the brake. However: 1) The stand was not assembled correctly as shown in the photo. The correction surface pointed in the wrong direction. I loosened two nuts and bolts and turned it over. Works well. 2) One of the probes is loose in the bracket and will not stay in place when hit by wheel rotation. The other side is fine. The dipstick cannot be pulled out. I don't know if my experience is an anomaly but I think

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, it's ok

The product is unreliable!

This item is not intended for use unless you are using it for a mobile device or for wheel alignment in an already stable environment. It's moving and it's not good if you can't stabilize it and it doesn't keep moving. I'm not happy that it doesn't have a set position to maintain your true stability, it moves too much for it to be exactly how it should be. Using it to go to another location to straighten a rim is fine at best, but by no means exactly how a wheel alignment tool should be. I…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Big disappointment. at Bike Tools & Maintenance

So far I'm not happy with it. Very thin. The pins that line up for the rim are just a cheap install, they go in and out very easily. Says it fits rims up to 29" but for 26" you have to remove the tire for it to fit properly. It does fit the tire with some difficulty, but proper leverage is too low and you can't use the center section to control high points. All in all I say it's a waste of money, don't buy it unless you're really hung on money! Keep in mind that a point of sale costs an average

  • Great price

In general what is intended.

so I think the important thing is that it works. I had to disassemble/reassemble it because it was installed upside down with the U bracket. The only way the wheel will fit into the stand is by the weight of the wheel on the "hinge" part of the stand. In short, it is foldable. When you open it all the way, a few stops prevent it from expanding too much and falling back down. There were 6 small screws, flip the bracket over and reattach the bracket. So it wasn't difficult, just a bit awkward…

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Only available in white

I'm glad I took a chance at this booth.

I just finished building my first set of 29er wheels (Stans Arch) using this stand and I'm glad I took the opportunity to purchase this item. I wasn't expecting much based on some of the reviews but I found this tripod to be the perfect solution as I didn't want to invest a lot of money in a professional tripod. It has some flaws but I give it 5 stars because it's easy to use and I got great results without spending a lot of money. Reviewers who mention the item is not properly assembled…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
