★Cross travel: 3.12" Longitudinal travel: 2.61". ★ Maximum jaw opening: 2.73"(80mm),Vise Specifications: 3". ★ Hand wheels feature machine-marked 0.1 mm increments for maximum precision 。Adjustment in X direction: 80mm. Adjustment in Y direction: 67mm. ★2 swivel crank handles for adjusting vise front to back and left to right, Bolt down slots for securing. ★Hand wheel with adjustable scale:A ring=1.5mm.
Good for small jobs, relatively accurate, light weight, sturdy, smooth operation. good design; Handles do not come in contact with the table without the need for spacers under the vise. All in all a great price and in my opinion a much better alternative to those cheap cast iron "boat anchors". Who buys a $40 milling vise? If this product was offered in a 4" or 5" I would purchase a different one.

★ Max Jaw Opening: 2.73" (80mm), Vise Specification: 3"
I've tried four compound vises (from other manufacturers) for milling jobs and this is the first that actually moves back and forth. and side by side very well right out of the box. The first three (I'm back) were heavy metal and were so difficult to move that no oil or grease would help. This does not need any lubrication and works great. I have read other reviews on this item and understand some of the criticisms that it is a bit sloppy. That's true, but one reviewer (Ironcock D.) said he…
It was immediately clear to me that this was going to be a mess. What do you expect for 50-60€? Which I didn't know but thought I could improve accuracy. Knowing it would be cheap (and surprisingly it wasn't!), it was assumed that accuracy would be poor. The only major issue is how the assembled vise actually moves. Both screws go through separate brass pins. Because they are separate, they move freely relative to each other, giving the bolts a lot of play. I was going to ask a friend to build…
