I am so happy to receive my gel pads. I have a torn peroneus brevis tendon and have to wear a special orthosis. I was in so much pain in the left side of my foot. I had no idea how to resolve the situation and neither did my doctor. I googled the name of the bone and then typed "foot pain from this bone" and he found these gel pads. I have to say that my problem is solved, there is NO more pain in this area. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Nancy.

I bought another pair over a year ago to protect my ankles from hockey skates. They worked well but were getting worn out so I decided to give them a try. I've worn them over a dozen times since buying them just to have them ride over my ankles. I even placed them below the ankle but only touched them to move up. Not sure why they don't stay in place, but they are less flexible than the old pair and not as sticky. . They came with a nice vented pouch to keep them in, but I stopped using them.

I wear them under heated socks when skiing. The cord on the outside of the socks chafed / created hot spots while skiing. Instead of expensive and non-reusable blister plasters, they are the perfect spacer between my ankle and the heated toe string with my super tight ski boots. No blisters and my toes stay warm while skiing. The only reason for 4 stars is that I wish they were a little thinner. They stick well to the skin (not sticky, grippier) but they are very thick making it difficult to…

I hope to cover this in two parts. I just put on a gel pad and put on my boots. I decided to place the disc directly on the skin above my ankle as it was difficult to hold the position when trying to place it between my toe and boot. I live in a hot climate so sweat comes with territory. I have a sturdy sock to hold the disc. I wouldn't mind a thicker gel disc if that were possible. These pads are a great idea but I doubt their durability. One of the two discs had a tear in the middle right out of the box. The crack is internal; I don't think it will break right away, but I didn't take any chances. Revain replaced my order immediately. My replacement pads are both in good condition.
