Industrial strength quality

I was concerned that this gooseneck tablet stand might be too light and too short. I was wrong on both counts. This thing is built like an M1A1 Abrams tank. The whole thing is solid, strong and durable, from the adjustable tablet holder, to the adjustable gooseneck, to the universal clamp that attaches it to a tabletop or tubular support. Device. I wasn't sure if the gooseneck would be long enough for my limited mounting options. I mounted this on a recumbent cross trainer that has both a water

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Can I add something

Not suitable for thick tables

Gooseneck withstands the surface Professional with lid. And really don't want to hold it when you're trying to adjust it so that the swan neck curve is closer to the ground and most of the neck is horizontal and straight. It is better if the bend is higher and protrudes less horizontally. The base piece that attaches to the table was clearly designed to connect to a round surface (pipe), primarily with the ability to clamp onto a flat surface (table), a poorly designed afterthought. When you…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities

  • Long waiting time

Why bother? best in category Accessories for tablets

I have an Apple iPad Pro 12.9. I haven't had much time to try and find the cheapest thing that works. I am recovering from multiple surgeries and on strict bed rest. I have my iPad right above my head as I look through the headboard at the ceiling. I am very happy with the results. I'm not going to lie that there is some spring/bounce, but a gooseneck is springy by definition. So I mostly use it in the most demanding setups as it is fully extensible in AgIe. I don't really like the spring…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • A few little things

Sturdy gooseneck but slippery clip.

This gooseneck seems very strong and strong, but the yoke is a bit slippery. I've tried it on multiple surfaces and have come to the conclusion that this device only sticks to a very specific thick surface. If you plan to use it on a computer desk or the side of a bed that isn't that thick, it will NOT lock properly, but will slide and slide as you adjust it. This is because the rubber material they use in the clip is grooved to increase grip, but instead it just allows the clip to slide…

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • Minor flaws

Industrial strength but not fleet-footed

Super strong - almost too much. About twice the weight I was expecting, but I think it was necessary given the decent length of the neck and the underlying physics of the whole thing. Don't expect easy insertion/removal as the thing is awkward to put in (and expect big handprints/stains from the process. But it keeps the thing at a good angle on my bed as it attaches to the dresser drawer almost a foot away is jiggly from touches (physics again) but I wanted it for watching movies so I don't…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Negativity is present
