No 12mm socket

The item I received did not have the 12mm socket required to connect to a 1984 VW Rabbit fuel rail. The supplied connections do not match the information in the manual.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Gauges do not match diagnostic, test and gauge

Gauges do not match Bosch K-Jetronic CIS on 1986 Mercedes 500SEL. I think it's a fairly standard system, similar to the 450SL but due to the lack of it of some cheap threaded connections for this K-Jet it is useless for this application.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

This does not include the actually required connections.

This does not include the connectors needed to actually test the K Jet system. Why sell it as a K-Jet test kit when you have to go to the trouble of finding additional connectors? Very frustrating.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Nothing

Not suitable for Porsche 911 CIS

Should have read reviews before buying. The kit does not include the necessary fittings for the K-Jetronic system in the Porsche 911. You will need 12mm adapters which are not included in this kit although they are mentioned in the booklet. Will return.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

This "Made in America " tool is worth the money.

My husband is happy and impressed with the purchase of this high quality instrument. Made in America: a big plus. He said the connection works fine; he just wished it had an exhaust valve. Luckily he was able to shape it.

Pros
  • Solid
Cons
  • Damaged

I bought it to check the pressure on a 1988.

I bought this to check the pressure on a 1988 Porsche 928. It didn't have the correct fitting to connect to the fuel rail. I ended up connecting it to a piece of fuel line and one of the fuel pump fittings. It worked, but was messy when it came to removing it.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

LOOK NO FURTHER! suitable for tools and equipment

I have been struggling with a fuel problem for a year. I NEED a great test suite. No trash. It was exactly what I needed. The gauge is very nice. The connectors are high quality and I have used them over 10 times with fantastic results. It helped get my DeLorean back on the road. This is the kit you need for Bosch Jetronic systems!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Partial kit of tools and equipment

Good kit but does not include those shown in Fig 2 in the owner's manual and specifically recommended for use with Bosch CIS K-Jetronic systems in the same manual. Without this adapter, the only way to bleed your dyno is to partially unscrew the gauge while the system is pressurizedβ€”dirty, dangerous, and inconvenient. I couldn't find this adapter on the CTA website, I left them a message but if they can't get it for me this kit will be returned.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great tool! for tools and equipment

I don't know why some people say it doesn't have the right fittings for the K-Jet system? I bought this to test the system and monitor the pressure on my K-Jet car (1986 VW GTI with European 16 VK Basic conversion). It worked wonderfully. The pressure gauge is large and very easy to read with the appropriate graduation. As for the flush pipe, I didn't find it necessary. If you first pull off the control pressure hose, there is so little fuel, despite a little high pressure, that it can hardly…

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Expensive
