Useless Tool for Automotive Enthusiasts

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I found this tool to be a complete waste of money. It was supposed to make a seemingly difficult job easier, but instead it made it impossible. The tool was poorly designed, and it ended up damaging the part I was working on. I had to spend several extra hours fixing the new issue it created. In conclusion, I would not recommend this tool to anyone who cares about the condition of their automotive parts.

Pros
  • Efficiently removes crankshaft without causing damage to the engine.
Cons
  • Requires specialized knowledge and experience to operate and may lead to unintended consequences if used incorrectly.

Great tool. on Steering and Suspension Tools

This tool was required to finish work on my BMW 08 535i and it worked perfectly. It was very easy to use and well packaged. This is a great tool for those looking to replace the crankshaft oil seal or rear main oil seal themselves.

Pros
  • Comparable to BMW 119 220, 119 230, 119 235 and 110 370 factory tools
Cons
  • Useless functions

Almost Perfect

This tool works great when you are changing the front seal because it is leaking. If the drive belt has failed and wrapped itself around the crank and is causing a leak, chances are the gasket has moved back towards the timing chain a little. In this case, the threads of this tool will not engage the gasket tight enough to pull it out because the bolt head on the crankshaft will touch the inside underside of the tool before the threads fully engage the gasket. The tool needed to be 10mm deeper…

Pros
  • Removing and Installing Front and Rear Crankshaft Oil Seals
Cons
  • Some Difficulties
