Better than I expected.

This is the first "real" pumice stone I have ever purchased. I've had those cheap gray ones you can get at your local grocery store, but they didn't help me. I've tried many things to get smooth feet (files, small electric files, etc.) but this pumice stone is by far the easiest and takes the least time. I decided to use it at the end of the shower. I attached the shoes to the photo, the before photo from three angles in the top row and the after photo from the same angles after a shower and…

Gentler than other methods

I love pumice stone. My daughter "stole" mine so I had to find a replacement. I find that they are a bit softer than other exfoliating files. I have both for different situations. I would say pumice is great for calluses etc even on your hands which I may be too rough for. You can use a pumice stone on things you can use a file on (heels, etc.), but it might not work as quickly. A pumice stone is also good for elbows if needed.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Just what I need

If I don't use a pumice stone my soles and heels get very dry, rough and calloused. I am satisfied with this pumice stone. It is much stronger and more durable than other pumice stones I have used in the past. It is very effective in removing dead skin. This pumice stone can be a bit more abrasive than other pumice stones, but it's EXACTLY what I need to keep my feet smooth and hydrated.

Powerful, durable, ideal for the toughest jobs.

This is my dream pumice stone. Okay, I get bored when I dream about a pumice stone. This thing is durable and washable, and for me it feels great in my hand. I've wiped calluses off my feet for years and the stone looks brand new. I clung to my socks as I put them on. I had calluses upon calluses. No longer! It can be too much to rub elbows and I found it absolutely too much for my knuckles to literally rub them too fine to be comfortable, but I'm by no means a delicate type and light pressure…

Cut Finger is the best foot, hand and nail care

This was the second product I have bought in the last few years. However, this new one has very burned out and sharp edges and left me with a clear cut on my finger. This product must be tested before shipping.

Pros
  • Trial version for one year
Cons
  • So so

I'm not the first to notice that this isn't real pumice, so I'm annoyed that it's advertised as such. We bought this specifically for a science project which means it was a waste of money for us. Personally, I would find real pumice more hygienic, since real pumice does not absorb water like this "lava stone". After we took it out of the water, it was heavier than when we put it in the water. Maybe we'll change the scope of our science project to weigh it before and after, and then check how…

Don't worry it's beautiful

Due to my exercise and habit of going barefoot, my feet need a little bit of maintenance all the time. Trouble is, I really hate those faux fine pumice stones that you can find at Walmart for about $2. They never really did much other than ask me why I was worried. However, I didn't want one that was notorious for flaking if I could help it. I never knew there were more natural ways until I came here. Although the stone looked intimidating at first, I decided I had nothing left to lose and this

Product Change Best in Foot Pumice Stone

I reordered this to replace the one I bought in 2013. This is not the size I replace, about 1/4 size. A new stone of the same quality and material, which makes me very happy. Ideal for exfoliating feet in the shower and doesn't fall apart like other products! My old stone was still in excellent condition and lasted 7 years. Replaced as needed, not as needed. I have to use it in combination with a finer grit, the holes are big and remove dead skin but don't make the skin as smooth as I would…

Makes skin really smooth and a great option as a hair removal tool!

This is my first Revain review. I received it on Monday (12.17). I honestly bought it for my face because I read that you can use a pumice stone to remove hair. I really had no expectations. I followed the directions but used Dr. Bonner's soap instead of a scrub. To be honest I don't even think you need a scrub as the stone does all the work. I used it on my face and I have to tell you I was SURPRISED that almost all of my coarser and unruly hair on my chin was GONE and my skin was so SMOOTH! I
