the box was crushed and one end is open

received this order today the box was crushed and one end was open. The box was large, there was bubble wrap but not on the brush, the metal end of the brush was bent at a 90 degree angle. I folded it up again to use it. Maybe it was a mistake and probably should have taken a picture.

Pros
  • also the old
Cons
  • without insurance is understandable

The handle is torn in several places! Do not buy

Mine broke and the wooden handle broke off. The quality is very poor and it wasn't due to the delivery as the box was intact. It came from a dealer. Nice sturdy spatula but I paid for a new one and got one that looks like it hasn't been used by very clumsy cooks in years.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Too dangerous to use

The brush cleans fairly well but I will find another way to clean the grill. The bristles (brass?) are strong enough to clean the rust, don't scratch, but also fall out of the head very often. If you're not careful and leave them on the grill, they can get into your food and you could end up in the hospital. My brush goes in the trash.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Some issues

Many promises but ultimately disappointment

Not the best grill brush. The handle is very well thought out, but the metal bristles are not strong and are too far apart. If you use a brush it will get stuck in the grill grate and will be very difficult to move and will not clean the grill very well. I have bought several grill brushes from Amazon and have always been disappointed. In the future I will buy grill brushes from Home Depot or some other store.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • No form required

One season and you're done.

All the grill brushes I've bought over the past few years have been too soft and fall apart after one season. I remember the good old days when I could buy a decent steel brush and bristles or whatever metal was used and with a little care lasted a few years. Probably people claim that the bristles break and get stuck in the food because they are all poor quality foreign junk. Not standard Cuisinart quality.

The head is bigger and the bristles are longer than I expected

Works great despite the low price. The head is larger than my previous product and the construction is stronger. I assume wood can burn the same way plastic can melt, but that cleans a hot grill way better than I'm used to. I use it every time right after removing the meat and everything while the grill is still hot and the particles are easiest to remove. There's also a hard steel scraper at the end, an extension of the base for the bristles, so pretty much indestructible.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Update available
