I like to cook with the Jetsons

I like to cook with the Jetsons. This is the next evolution of pressure cooking. I'm used to using a pressure cooker on the stovetop which you have to keep an eye on and adjust the temperature when the pressure is reached. With this pressure cooker, you push the buttons and do something else. I'll come back later, open it and dinner is ready. Looks good, but I've only had it a few months. The settings are quite intuitive. Cleaning is easy. The pan is a retractable insert. The lid has five main…

error on tip good for kitchen and dining room

I received the device and put it into operation soon. I loaded the materials in and started the sequence. A few minutes later the car died. I tried again with similar results. I called Cuisinart and they advised me to return the device. Then I searched the internet and found something that wasn't mentioned in the book or in Cuisinart. The unit comes with a stand that you 'can' use for frying etc. The truth is, USE THE FIT. I've cooked stews with lots of meat at the bottom of the container. This

Machine shuts down too soon

So I'm trying to high pressure cook a stew for 20 minutes. Not difficult, is it? NOT CORRECT! This pot always said it was ready in 4 or 5 minutes. I am everything. I bought Bella and you know what? IT WORKS! I won't even give it to anyone to use because it doesn't work. When the scavengers show up this week, bring them Cuisinart! By the way, two of my friends have the same problem. I've called Cuisinart several times about this issue. Every time I got their "corrections" and I followed them…

I liked it very much. Now I can't buy any more parts.

Update: I have not been able to use this stove since the end of April 2018. The pressure valve doesn't work because the inner seal (in the lid) is broken and I can't get any more pressure. I can still make soup, but soup is easier on the stove. I've tried various ways to contact Cuisenart but there is no way to leave a message or request a replacement part. I miss it but now I'm glad I didn't buy it as a gift for a family member who needs a pressure cooker but wasn't disappointed. I was…

The best electric pressure cooker for your money!

I love this pressure cooker. I thought about upgrading to a more expensive model, but then I looked at the price and realized I could buy three of these for an updated model. I've had this pressure cooker before, actually replacing a ten year old model I bought elsewhere. I can cook stir fry, barbecue ribs, rice pilaf, soups and baked beans in half or more the time it takes to cook. on the stove. This 6 liter model works for my family. I can't in this pressure cooker because I have an old…

3 years and no problems

I don't know why some people had so many problems but I've had it for over 3 years, use it 2-3 times a week and haven't had any problems. I mainly use this on beans but have used it a few times on meats and veggies. For those of you who eat beans, let me tell you how I use them and I can say my beans come out great. I make about 2 cups of dried pintos, Peruanos, or black beans. Add about 3 1/2 cups of water. Add some salt, some cumin powder, sometimes some oregano, and the secret ingredient of…
