Kettle can't take heat

Zero stars if I could. The plastic around the nozzle melted as the water boiled, which oddly is all this thing is supposed to do.

The handle of this kettle is too hot!

Every part of this kettle gets too hot to touch without a potholder or oven mitt: you can't touch the handle without burning yourself, and you can't open the spout. They don't get warm, they get hot. What good is a kettle if you can pour hot water into it?

but obviously not a big qc.

Supplied with rear screw and handle retaining plate in pouch. I was able to screw it back in but I doubt it will last long but it works as is and is pretty cheap. The metal inside the teapot was also notched so it was hoped it wouldn't rust over time, but apparently that's not very good.

Lightweight, easy to use. . .

. . . The kettle is easy to clean and heats up quickly. The handle allows you to lock the spout door while pouring - a handy feature when you're pouring slowly and don't need to hold it open. You should wash it with warm soap and water after each use - otherwise it will easily get limescale deposits. (This applies to all dummies, but is worth mentioning). The large opening makes cleaning quick and easy. A good buy.

I wish you happy burning.

Aside from the awfully high price, the design is terrible. If you have big hands like me, good luck sticking your hand in the pot to clean it. In addition, and most importantly, it is almost impossible to pour from it without spilling boiling water everywhere. It either drips out or immediately boils up when it hits the throat and splatters everywhere. I've waited too long to swap. Save money and buy something half price.

I love this teapot! in kitchen and dining room

This kettle looks PERFECT on our stovetop and I love the bright colors. The whistle is clear and good, loud enough to be heard from another room. Sometimes when the flame under the kettle is too high the handle can get hot, but not so hot that you need an oven mitt or towel. The handle is rubberized and is comfortable to hold. The pull tab on the handle is great for opening the lid/pipe on the spout and works smoothly. Flows evenly from the spout without splattering. The kettle has a marking on

Absolutely sufficient

Excellent kettle at a great price. If you follow the directions, the bad things people are complaining about really shouldn't happen and shouldn't be too hard to take care of. No, this isn't a top teapot, but I had one once and the pipe melted from forgetting to use it, the enamel chipped from my inattention and limescale formed inside. like kettles when we're casual. This kettle is the perfect size for me, it's very pretty and very easy to use, keep it dry. My only concern is that it's pretty…

Great product, the best in kitchen and dining room

Just to solve some problems. If the kettle doesn't whistle, try squeezing the middle lid properly. Second, stainless steel can exhibit what is known as flash rust, which is easily removed and does not affect the integrity of the boiler. The appearance depends on the type of stainless steel used (usually with nickel content). Third, any internal buildup that usually results from hard or unevaporated water can be removed by pouring vinegar into an empty pot and letting it sit for about an hour…
