Don't take this if you plan on making panini!

Do not buy this product if you want to make panini! Suitable for grilled cheese and anything that uses very thin bread. Since the arm and top don't rise and rise above the sandwich (like a panini maker should), you won't be able to properly fry the panini. It slips out the front of the grill and makes a mess. I had to fry half to reduce it, then flip and fry the other half.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • thin

The temperature is much higher than the first one I bought.

. However, the latest addition heats up much more, almost burning the bread before the cheese inside is properly melted. We've read that this is an issue, so obviously given one with great temperature settings or not-so-great settings it's a product to play with. Unfortunately, you cannot adjust the temperature to fix this problem. If this was our first purchase I would have given fewer stars.

Pros
  • . I keep my fingers crossed.
Cons
  • . No form required.

Easy to use and big enough for two.

Hey. Just plug it in, wait for it to turn green and cook. We love the removable grill plates. Easy to clean and the grease drip tray is easily accessible. We have fried ham slices, asparagus, hamburgers, chopped chicken drumsticks and steaks. You just have to figure out how long to fry them properly. The grill plates aren't huge, but enough for two large hamburgers or a large steak. We've found meat smaller than 1 inch and boneless works best, otherwise the lid will be ajar and not even leave…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Exchange availability

Fair except when compared to the best devices.

We just rented an apartment in Italy for a month. The apartment had a great panini press. So in a month I could use this thing 30 or 40 times! I love it! This is what I am comparing this product to, which may not be fair. The one in Italy heats up more evenly than this one. It seemed hotter and warmed up faster. Bread "brown" faster. It had more space between the plates, so we could cut fresh bread nice and thick, put a hearty sandwich on top and still place it evenly between the heating…

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

It's worth the price

We originally had a Sunbeam grill which we used for chicken and sandwiches which worked well but for cleaning it was flatbread as nothing got wet . I held it sideways under water to wet the records, but nothing more. He eventually stopped working; probably got wet but not a big deal since I got it on a freebike. It was a replacement, I just needed one to remove the panels with. At first I was a little disappointed with the size as I thought almost nothing would fit, but I was pleasantly…

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are cons
