fits 4KYFA26100K fits starters and alternators

new part number replaces 191-2312, genuine part, fits and works perfectly. Too bad the black power wire in the block doesn't have an accessible plug, could have saved over an hour on the alternator R&R but once it fails the starter motor is easily replaced.

Felt safe ordering an OEM part.

I know there are cheaper units out there, but with all the hassle of removing the damn thing, I'm hoping the OEM lasts longer. Here's a tip if your starter solenoid is shorted and your alternator keeps trying to start. After replacing the solenoid, replace the starter. I'm pretty sure all that filming killed him.

This part fits and works with my Onan 4000 alternator. I paid a premium price for it as it was listed as an OEM part. It was packaged in a plastic bag labeled "Ready to Ship" with no OEM packaging or warranty information. The label was plain block text with no logos. Is it OEM or gray market? PHOTO - OLD FAILURE STARTER - the engine was spinning and the gear was hanging and was ground where it meets the flywheel - this new part solved the problem.
