Came wrapped in tape and pieces of cardboard. Once it was the two boxes it was shipped in. Details were missing. I didn't even have to open the box. The box was out of the question. Just torn cardboard. I called Kurt and they were kind enough to send me the one missing part but they didn't have another replacement part. Otherwise the product is good, new and well finished.

It takes a little tedious assembly and installation for your car, but I don't think it's any more difficult than any other coupler. This greatly improves car towing and in my opinion the best part is that the preload is adjustable. My camper has a platform at the front that only has gear on it intermittently. When I need more lift, I turn up the drawbar tension and it aligns perfectly.

I have been studying weight distribution systems for a while. I've looked at this multiple times on multiple sites. It was nice but too expensive for me. I put it in my favorites and kept watching. The price dropped $90. I bought it then. Weight distribution plus stabilizer. Growing up in Florida near I75, I saw a lot of trailers swaying and wobbling. It costs money to prevent this with your expensive trailer and tractor.

Well, the instructions say it has 3/4" nuts and bolts to connect the ball joint to the car mount, but that's not entirely accurate. I've tried 3/4 to no avail. BUT Home Depot sells a 27mm socket that fits the screw perfectly but is too small for the screw so I had to use an adjustable wrench which I got from the same Home Depot. The piece that attaches to the pendant to lock the chains is 3/4 so at least it's there. I'm not quite at the point of attaching them to the trailer, so those comments…

Pulled on my 32ft bumper with and without the linkage. Who cares, I just traveled with her from Missouri to Arizona. The package came with a torn end, it has a large hole with a protruding part of the towbar. loosely packaged and misaligned, and missing a few screws and fasteners that had clearly fallen out of a hole that had been taped more than once. The product looked good and sturdy and seemed well made but I packaged it the best I could and sent it back for a refund and went to my local store to buy the same product for $50 less with installation .
