I make cutting boards and use them to step on. The good thing is that they have stainless steel screws that won't rust when wet. They seem well made and durable. I've had others that came out with metal inserts. I found some at my local lumber store that are a bit cheaper but they're not bad and they come in packs of 12 instead of 4. I would buy again and have ordered them twice already

I just bought these to attach to my new cutting board. Ideal. I used an awl to make the starting hole and then used my electric screwdriver to finish. However, they are small enough to be made by hand. It took five minutes. They seem to be the perfect height and they stick the board to the granite surface pretty well. If I have any problems with the rubber feet (durability, deterioration) or screws (rusting, etc.), I'll let you know. See photo.

These rubber feet are exactly as described. I need them to stabilize the table top for a pair of strings I made as a Christmas present. I used red oak for the base and although I pre-drilled the holes before attaching them, I was impressed with the Phillips head screws when I installed them. Just a little tip. The included screws OR rivets (which I used) stick out too high and when other equipment is placed on top of the preamp, tuner, switch, air conditioner or whatever, the screws can damage the top of the underlying AV unit casing scratch. Not good. Solution; Take out the metal insert, hold it with pliers and file down a few millimeters of the - very soft - metal, THEN place it on the device. I bought these rubber feet to attach to my chopping boards to keep them in place on tiled worktops. They definitely do their job and now the cutting boards stay in place very easily. The legs don't add much height to them either, which is nice. I was even able to tuck the legs into the corner of my cutting board where the juice tray/indentation is.
