THIS IS THE SECOND STARTER OF THIS TYPE AND BRAND I BUY. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH MY FIRST SO FOR THIS BUILD I WILL NOT SEND OTHERWISE.

This small starter brings a lot of power! Pulled up right next to my Chevy IV Big Block I had to use all the shims to get the clearance I needed but again this is the first starter I've tested! I hope it lasts as long as other reviews claim, I've cranked through the starter in my drag car almost every year, burning the brushes in all of them and not wanting to start when it's hot. Twisted, flipped and the car started straight away! Spins very little!

These starters are much more expensive than others on the market, but the price justifies the performance. I bought one of these starters 7 years ago and have used it on 5 different engines running daily all the time. Engines ranged from 1978 low compression 305s to 11.25:1327 and 10.5:1383. The starter motor worked fine even with very low battery voltage. The customizable mounting layout made it perfect for 3 very different exhaust/flywheel configurations.
