When vacuum drops below 15 in. of vacuum the CVR Electric Vacuum Pump activates and increases the vacuum level to 20 in. of vacuum. Complete self-contained Unit. Powerful and Efficient Vacuum Pump

After trying this vacuum pump, I was impressed with its power and efficient performance. It easily pulls a deep vacuum on the air conditioning system, ensuring a leak-free installation. The noise level is low enough not to disturb the surroundings. However, the unit's weight is a bit heavy and makes it challenging to move around. Great pump! - Tools and equipment

Works great. Loud (checked with the engine off) BUT! My cars are so loud that you don't hear them at all while driving. I mean let's face it if you need one of these pumps your camera is radical enough for your car to be loud enough noise shouldn't be a factor. Overall I'm impressed with the quality and it was VERY easy to hook up.

The black anodizing is damaged and uses 3 wires but only comes with a 2 pin connector

After arguing back and forth about spending a lot more on the black anodizing I settled on the prettier black anodized one Look and regret it now it. Save your money and opt for an aluminum finish instead. The part is well packaged but the anodization is damaged in several places, there are several rough or machined areas on the aluminum under the anodization and other places where the anodization has been damaged and bare aluminum is visible.
