Score top for baselayer and compression

These are my all time favorite pair of running and training pants. I'm training for my first half marathon and this is great for keeping everything in place and giving me the support I need. I'm size 12/14 so I wear XL in them and they are perfect. I have 2 pairs and wear them to workout at least 5 days a week.

Pros
  • Double reinforced waistband with flat drawcord and internal key pocket
Cons
  • Security

Worn with success at the Disney marathon.

I am 46 years old, 1.60 m tall and weigh 65 kg. I bought a small one at the last second for my running suit at the Disney marathon. It was a wet 77* on race day, but I'm keeping my head and more importantly, appreciating that my guts are staying in place as I run 26.2 miles. UPDATE (January 2018) - Wore them again for the 2018 Disney Marathon. They really support. I notice a big difference with my hips and knees. Wash them gently in the cold and hang to dry. They will last a while.

Pros
  • Machine washable
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Great product but not for calf problems.

I love this brand's regular tights and running shorts. I can't do Capri. It doesn't hit my calves properly and they get too tight. I also love them and all their other products. The support in my hips and legs is amazing. I've suffered many injuries over the years of running. I haven't had any injuries this training season and have played two halves just a few weeks apart. I wear a version of this product during runs and rest days. Compression is great and does what it's supposed to. If you are

I LOVE these capris

A little over 10 years ago, while training for my first summer marathon, I discovered the benefits of sweat-wicking fabric. I immediately switched from short cotton shorts and old cotton t-shirts to Nike Tempo shorts and dry-fit tops and haven't looked back. I never understood how women run in running shorts. I usually wear shorts so I can walk until the mercury freezes. Then I found CW-X. I LOVE these capris. They feel good on my feet. They don't ride up or down and so far have been…

Good buy for running. Second pair bought

SIZE: I was on the borderline between large and XL. After reading many reviews I bought a large women's glasses size 12/14 and was very satisfied. They're a little difficult to put on at first (like most tights) but they provide the support I was looking for due to the strain on the thigh muscles. DURABILITY: I hand wash and hang dry. They seem durable enough for my weekly 20-50 mile run depending on what I'm training for. APPEARANCE: I personally wouldn't wear them without shorts or a full…

Great product but DOES NOT increase

Great compression and support if you choose the right size. I definitely recommend it. The only problem for me was that the size chart is really wrong. I'm 5ft 4in and 117cm tall which puts me squarely in the short category. I was skeptical because all I have is xs and it seems like I increase the size every time because Revane says it's too big. The reviews said the size is bigger because it's a big compression etc so I ordered a small one first. She was definitely too big. It was crumpled at…

Good support but short-lived

I have seven pairs of CW-X tights. Although they offer great support, these tights are not durable. For the price I would have expected a much higher quality product. Three pairs of my CW-X tights had holes in various locations after moderate use: (1) knee area (2) crotch seam torn (3) crotch area hole (see pic. I put it under a gray shirt so you can see the hole ). I bought the correct size for my height/weight so I know it's not a problem and I wash/dry them according to the manufacturer's…

Great compression and support

I love the CW-X Stabilyx for running and wear tights, capris and shorts depending on the weather and need. I would wear shorts now but I have knee problems so I need extra support in that area so I ordered extra capris. They're comfortable, offer great support (I'll only run in compression shorts), and as an added bonus, hide some "body imperfections". The only thing I would change about the design is that it has a larger zip pocket at the back waist like many other running shorts. The small…
