Cheap shoes that rattle

I don't usually write bad reviews but this shoe was just awful. They are very thin and have no support or cushion. They are designed for both pedal clamps, but if you only use Delta pedals, the SPD clamps will bounce around and shake with every turn of the pedal. I tried securing this by securing it with two of the four screws and you could feel the screws through the shoe. I googled how to fix it and was offered zip ties and hot glue. I returned with no problems.

  • Comfortable item
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Good shoes, good value for money

Comfortable fit, good stiff sole and excellent adjustment. I wore them with summer socks until recently, but I've worn them with a pair of wool socks and they fit well. Closure "Boa Constrictor" works very well. I also like that the tongue is well padded and slides easily into place. So far I haven't found anything bad to say about the shoe. I give 5 stars if it holds up well. Reserve 5-star ratings for perfect or outstanding performance.

I can't go wrong with the price. 2000km later.

Walked over 2,000 miles in six months in these shoes. No complaints. I ride about 100 miles a week as hard as I can. I'm sure there are more comfortable, lighter, and stiffer shoes out there, but I'm not sure anything can match the $50 quality. 5 stars for that. And they look great in white! If you want a better, stiffer, lighter shoe, you have many options for $150 and up. The velcro still holds and the boa style tightener works great. They are enough for another 2000 miles. Weight - 341 grams

Good replacement shoe for bad weather

These shoes are good but rough around the edges. Fair value, they're pretty stiff and the latter are comfortable enough. It has bolt mounting plates with 2 or 3 holes. As mentioned in some reviews, they have an awful rumble from a 2-hole mounting plate (or one you don't use). I put a zip tie through the holes in the unused 2 hole plates and that stopped the rattling. Turnbuckles are fake. They are easy to use and loosen, but they only tighten and have no reverse effect on the left shoe, soโ€ฆ

Cheap shoe but quite nice, fit was just right

I am a road cyclist with SPD-SL Ultegra pedals and a very expensive pair of cycling shoes. But we recently ordered Peloton, which comes standard with Look pedals. I ordered a pair of shoes for my wife along with the bike as we had a $100 discount on accessories because we were recommended by another owner. After that I found that the pedals were different and instead of constantly changing cleats I bought them to use when I'm in the peloton. You are not fancy. BOA locks appear to be moreโ€ฆ

Do not use standard size SPD screws

I gave up screwing in the original SPD cleats because the screws are too short for the deep holes in the sole of these boots. protrude by themselves like a bump on the surface of the sole, making it appear as if a large pebble is stuck under your forefoot when you walk in it. Most bike cleats aren't ideal for walking, but well-constructed shoes minimize the perception of bumps by creating deep grooves in the rubber tread of the outsole, allowing the cleat itself to be deeper than the parts ofโ€ฆ

Great value shoe that lives up to expectations

I was really hoping for a better shoe than what I paid for but in the end I got what I paid for I think. Some key points that may help others in their decision. 1) I wear cycling shoes 44. For some reason the sizes are US. 44 is usually around a 10.5 - this shoe doesn't come in a size 10.5, you can get a 10 or 11. on my foot, but true I think on the stated size. The boa stretcher allows me to squeeze it tight so it fits normally. 2) There are a few awkward pressure points that I need to use aโ€ฆ
