Product works but be careful

The product itself works as it should. I have one on the left pedal and the other on the rear hub. The biggest issue with this product is the flimsy rubber straps that wrap around the pedal. The strips are very thin and mine ripped twice. Good thing someone behind me saw him fall. Now I wrap it with black electrical tape, both on the pedal and the hub. I just wanted it to have a better mount. The measurement is perfect. I compared it to Garmin data and my Apple iPhone data. It fit. I almost…

Good sensors, do their job

I received two identical sensors and set one to speed and the other to cadence. I just flipped a switch in one of them. Connection to the Wahoo app was fast. Wahoo reads both sensors with no problems. I installed the S sensor on the rear wheel hub and the C sensor on the crank. I didn't feel that the rubber bands (included) would hold the sensors in place for long, so in order not to lose them I also wrapped them tightly with velcro (see photo). After a few test runs I can say: So far so good…

How the speed sensor works how the cadence sensor not very

I liked the price and a handy clicker to switch this thing from speed to cadence. hard to close. There is a slot for a pin at one end and a latch for the lock at the other end, which you must press on both with equal force for the door to close. In the attached picture, the crank is only turning, the wheel is stopped. The cadence sensor sends a speed signal to my Lezyne GPS. I swapped sensors, switched between BT and Ant+ and the same thing happens. I will return these sensors. I have Tusy…

These REALLY work

I have a couple of magenes. I tried pairing a set with SPEED to my Bryton Rider 15 but it never worked. Even the Bryton sensor on the handle barely stays connected. Is it a Brighton or a sensor? All I know is that these have a switch inside and only connect for the position that the switch specifies. You don't need to see what color the LED flashes when you remove and reinsert the battery. they are not randomly competing for a GPS device for the same data slot. a great affordable complement to…

Steam doesn't work/isn't working - try

I'm new to cycling so I don't have anything to compare - but after a bit of tweaking everything works as it should. On the box, one sensor paired without complaint, the second didn't. After 30 minutes of troubleshooting and basically deciding that I would return these for a replacement or refund, I noticed that if I held the battery cover closed with constant finger pressure, the sensor would light up. battery cover and found a small metal tab on the edge (see picture). It seemed to sit in a…

Somewhat dubious performance

Update from 09/10/2021: ------------------------------ - - -------------------------- ------------------------------- Long Term Overall performance was questionable. One of the sensors has stopped working for a few weeks. I thought it might be the battery but I checked the voltage on the old battery, it was normal but there was no difference from the new battery. Finally, you have to wake them up and coordinate this with the smartphone app. Maybe the one I used for cadence was always a bit…

It works as a speed sensor, but not very well as a cadence sensor

I liked the price and the convenient clicker to switch this thing from speed to cadence. Cons: There is no coin slot in the battery cover, making it difficult to close. There is a slot for a pin at one end and a latch for the lock at the other end, which you must press on both with equal force for the door to close.
