More than enough functionality with design

Initially there were difficulties with the installation. However, this had nothing to do with the router. It was my provider. I had to call my ISP to reboot (ping) the router to get internet access. The D-Link router has been working fine for 2 months. No questions/complaints. There is more than enough power to connect multiple devices without bandwidth disruption/latency when streaming/browsing etc. Security protocols/features are easy to navigate and configure based on your preferences. Extremely disappointed

I've been a die-hard DLink fan for over 15 years. I've had over 1/2 dozen of their routers. I'm not a typical home user. I use features like Dynamic DNS, Quick VPN, and custom configurations for my home network. I upgraded from a DIR-880L which was a solid router but needed better encryption for my wireless network, which worked pretty well, but after spending a few hours with tech support I was able to get the VPN working don't get it to work. Also, the router does not recognize my NAS. Theseโ€ฆ

Add me to the list of customers with the same problem: Resets the signal several times a day.

After a few hours of intensive research to avoid buying junk, it turned out that I bought junk anyway. Resets the signal several times a day. The 15 year old modem it was supposed to replace works better (no signal loss) and just as fast if not faster. It's so common these days that even the most famous brands with the best reputations now go to junk. I don't mind paying more for a product that lasts longer and works better. I would happily pay over $500 if your product actually works as youโ€ฆ

D-Link blinds the DIR-X5460!

I've been a member of the D-Link family since using the DIR-882, but when I saw the DIR-X5460 for sale on Prime Day I had to give a push despite the imminent release of WiFi make -6E routers in the near future . This is a significant leap over my old router as it has a lot more power thanks to the new Wi-Fi 6 capability. The only two Wi-Fi 6 enabled devices I had to test were my OnePlus 8 phone and a desktop wireless card. -Fi, which I also found on offer. This increased the transfer speed onโ€ฆ
