For an expensive cutter, it has the dreaded disadvantage that when objects are placed near the right edge, the cuts are NOT perfectly square. When I received my Dahle 446 Premium Roller Trimmer, the first thing I checked after unpacking it was square. Visually it looked great. A simple test is to take a piece of carbon paper, most likely perfectly square in shape, and cut a very thin strip from the end. Just make sure the paper fits snugly against the fence and doesn't move as you cut. Then compare the 2 ends of the tape. If they match, then it's a square.
