Haven't tested this thing in the real world yet. However, I was able to install it on my bike fairly easily. **Remember that the switch is off when the cover is down! ** I didn't understand when I received it, but it's ok. :)

Product looks OK but cannot reverse. Closing the lid is switched to the off position and you cannot change it. Also, the small wire retention screw looks like it has an issue with smaller wire gauges like 12 or 10 wire cable. Possibly best for 16 solids or higher.

I bought this as a switch on my mower's control panel to control the spray boom which I installed at the rear. I used to have a simple toggle switch installed and often accidentally toggled it on or off while mowing. When it's set I have a positive control and I'm sure it's off when the switch is engaged. Very happy with this switch and cap, does exactly what I need.

I bought these to add a twist to my DIY airbrush booth project. One controls the fan motor and the other controls the light. They appear to be well made, with a good buff when closing the protective case, and add a classy look to an ordinary item. I think these switches would be great for your project, whether it's something similar to mine or to put missiles on your F-14.

it seems decent. I am going to add a switch to my tractor. In an emergency. It would be quicker to slam that switch than to dig for the key under the steering wheel and turn it off. NOW. This small metal circle should be on top of the spring. But only floated in the pocket. So it took some time (more than you think) to reinstall that little washer at the bottom of the spring to keep the flapper down. Next to. For $$$. . This is a decent switch.
