Slick but fixable. in my review

Others noted how difficult it was to clean off the slicker ‘n snot on a door knob coating on this mat. I used Simple Green with a well used Scotch Brite pad and it was still VERY slick. I took it outside again and used another eco friendly product "De-solv-it” with the same well used Scotch Brite pad and now the surface is pretty nice. I hosed the pad off each time.

it does provide the comfort from standing on just the floor

the cons: the darker color does show everything on them so they do need to be wiped down daily, they did slid on the floor for a few weeks when we first got them, the pros: they're thick enough that they are definitely comfortable, added decor to the kitchen, even my dog lays on them when i'm prepping for a meal rather than his bed

Nice cushy yet firm underfoot

I really like my new matts. These replaced two ten year old ones, which were cleanable but wore out.I really appreciated getting sizes I really wanted rather than some "standard" Matt size at the big box stores.It has been easy so far to wipe them clean with a Swiffer wet jet or a cleaning wipe. No deep grooves to catch and hold.I kind of wish I could order a room sized floor like this. Something like 8' x 8'.

This mat is wider than most and longer than most, which is exactly what I needed in front of my sink. It is long enough that the walk from the sink to the fridge to the cutting board is all done on the mat. No on/off. The only down side is that it is TOO slick. The first time I walked into the kitchen, in my rubber shoes, my foot slipped out from under me. After 2 weeks, it is still slick and we have to be careful when walking in the kitchen. Extremely dangerous, slippery mats!

Please DO NOT purchase these mats! I was in a hurry and hadn't read the reviews. I ordered them for our almost 13 year old dog who has mobility problems, and these mats have made things worse and very dangerous for her, my husband and I, and anyone coming into our home! They must be coated - top and bottom - with silicone or something similar, because they just slide all over the floor, and it gets on your feet or socks, and now the whole floor is slippery, as well as the steps going outside…

Comfortable but slippery

I like these mats, the size was perfect but the color wasn't exactly as I expected. They're comfortable and match my kitchen well enough. The biggest issue is they do seem to have some kind of oil on them that made my floors pretty slippery after a day or so. They're not noticably covered in goo or anything but I've had to mop the floor a couple of times since getting them.

Mats don’t stay in place as they should.

These mats don’t stay in place which makes them a hazard for me as I’m elderly, I have tripped over them several times. Considering the price of these mats it’s a shame they aren’t worth it.

Love it but. slippery floors all around the house after stepping on it? No visible residue.

Love it. Very comfortable but. after stepping on it and standing on other surfaces, like ceramic floor or laminate flooring, they are all extremely slippery. I washed it and sprayed and cleaned it with windex. I mopped my floors and next day same issue. I am hoping this goes away after being on my kitchen floor for a few days,.
