Good suggestion for welding with one or three seams quik tac

I was skeptical at first, but in fact, they automatically dim when the arc is struck. However, the lenses have lighter and darker areas and are unevenly shaded when darkened. In addition, not the best build quality. One of the outer clear protective glasses keeps falling out. Works well for a quick beat here or there, but that's about it. Not a bad deal for the money, IMHO.

Pros
  • Easy to use: glasses frames can be adjusted; The mirror legs can be adjusted in length, the auto-variable lighting lens is light and comfortable, with excellent shock resistance, the use is safer and more reliable

Solid product, best to use during the day.

As a railroad welder, I bought these goggles to protect my eyes and prevent switching between clear and shielded goggles. They charge quickly and shift faster. Unfortunately for ME, the arc is not a steady light, causing (NIGHT) the goggles to flicker, making it difficult to focus on the task at hand. Not so noticeable in daylight. I would recommend them for price and quality but would definitely add that note.

Pros
  • Wide application: solar panels, battery replacement is not required; Simplicity and safety in operation, lightweight construction; Applicable for gas welding, steel welding, cutting, welding, etc.
Cons
  • Quality

Lightweight, works great, it was high time to buy

If I had known about them beforehand I would have bought them a long time ago. Much more practical when trying to weld in tight spaces e.g. B. when you need to get your head under the dash. The auto dimming feature is great and the light weight makes it very comfortable. The slight negative I see is that they aren't as dark as they could be (the arch is lighter than my full size helmet. Don't forget to remove the protective plastic film on either side of the clear lens.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Works well in PSA

Got these for use in plasma cutting steel and has worked well for that. The problem I had was that they flickered in certain lighting conditions, making them unsuitable for protection. Another problem was that they must have a turn-off delay feature to avoid problems when the plasma flame front descends behind the cutting surface for a split second, causing it to flash. In general, they worked as long as you were aware of their limitations. The build is cheap, but so are the glasses, so you get

Better than nothing!

No, they're not perfect and will ignite near bright light, but for quick welding they're great to wear in an emergency. Mine automatically dimmed immediately and I could see the puddle as I welded. I would say shade #9 or #10 in the dark. Of course, they won't protect your face from arc flash when you're wearing them, so by no means ONLY wear them unless you have a lot of hair and won't be sweating for more than 10 seconds. Otherwise you risk severe burns. I suppose they can also be used to…
