🚘 Custom Fit Dashboard Cover Mat for Dodge Ram 1500 2002-2005, 2500/3500 2003-2005 (Ram 02-05, Black) - Y22 Review

Carpet fits my dashboard very well and looks great. The only problem I had was with the Velcro. The glue doesn't hold very well and they need to be raised a bit. In general I am satisfied with the mat on the dashboard.

The driver side fits perfectly but the length of the passenger side after the cluster is about 1/2 shorter. So something on that half isn't working. I may have to cut it in half to keep my deicer from closing up in the winter, but it looks a lot better than before.

I really like this, I have a bit of OCD and the Velcro strips in the kit sucked so I went to Wal-Mart and bought the Velcro Command strips, used them and it is turned out great! Wonderful value for money and a perfect cover up for a broken Dodge dash! Recommend to buy this and better velcro and do it!

I've put fairings on a couple of cars so this isn't new to me but it's by far the WORST fit I've ever had had seen. That doesn't even come close. Maybe they sent me the wrong model for my truck's year, I don't know, but the fit is terrible. One more note: the velcro that comes with this one is useless. If you buy this invest in a decent velcro strap or it won't stay in place, but that's true of many dashboards.

Velcro strips aren't the best, they don't stick to the dashboard at all. I just cleaned the dashboard and rubbed alcohol on the stain and glue residue. There were a few sticks ok but still not the best. Fits neatly. I had to push and pull hard to make it fit. The processing looks ok. It has a few slits to make room for the airbag. I only got it to protect my original dashboard which only had a few small cracks and it does the job I got it for.

The Velcro straps included with this product do NOT stick to my dashboard! Now this element just sits on my dashboard. It seems to stay in place quite well, but there's no reason to really appreciate the theme because "I" am usually alone in the car and I don't have to do anything on the dashboard. LOL This product REDUCES the overall temperature in the windshield area, reducing the likelihood of further cracks in the original material. This item is very light (good thing).

I installed this on a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500. It fit perfectly and was easy to assemble. The only issue I had was that the 3M velcro straps that attached to the dash didn't stick very well. My dash is cracked in several places where I removed the dash (before) to put in a new heater core. Since my dash was in such bad shape I used Gorilla Glue on the back of the 3M decals and it held up really well. These dash mats are still the same cheap mats. I thought $34 was a better product. No, that is not so. This $34 item doesn't seem any different than what I've seen at Revain for $17 or $21. Save some money and spend it to steam this item to get rid of the creases in the heavy packaging. In terms of looks, at least I don't have to look at the horrible cracking of the cheap plastic dashboard that the cool Dodge Ram went for. Eventually I could use a plastic sleeve to stick to this pile of plastic

I bought this for my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500. I have a gray doormat. It doesn't fit perfectly, but it works. Before installation, it is written to steam all folds and not to iron.
