Great for belt

Bought pre made belts and replaced them on my Ford 4.0 within 3 months. It would start overheating. This strap is a little shorter and has done its job well so far! Note that I put a flex fan (not a "clutch") on my Ford, so it pulls a little harder than stock Junques.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Fits

A penny well spent compared to an expensive roadside breakdown!

V-ribbed belts whenever the rubber no longer looks like rubber and is starting to look brown, hard, worn and cracked. Cheaper than towing and towing! ALL rubber hoses, belts together, on engine, cheaper than towing! Replace them every 5 years to avoid costly problems!

Pros
  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • Expensive Buy and replace

Too Long and Causes Problems

This belt is too long and causes squeaks and squeaks, not to mention the larger problem of the tensioner going so far that it rubs on the coolant expansion tank return hose. Search online for problems with aftermarket belts that are too long, especially this one. Big headache. Don't waste your time and money. Now I have to buy another brand.

Pros
  • Spool
Cons
  • Obsolete

Not for 2004 Ford Explorer 4.0 V6 XLT

I bought this for a 2004 Ford Explorer 4.0L V6. Revain pointed out that this belt fits the engine correctly, but there is something wrong with it. Immediately after I put the belt on, it started squeaking when driving off and kept squeaking non-stop while driving. I compared the length of this belt to the old one and it looked right. The main difference between this strap and the original is the cut ribs/grooves. The ribs on this belt aren't deep enough and I don't think they made tight enough…

Pros
  • Belts, hoses and pulleys
Cons
  • Not sure
