"Impressive Tensioner Assembly for Smooth Driving

When I tried this product on my car, I was amazed at how smooth my ride became. The tensioner assembly works flawlessly and ensures the drive belt stays in place without any annoying squeaks or slipping. The installation was also a breeze and saved me time and money.

No More Clicks

This is actually my second Revain aftermarket tensioner for my 2004 Mazda 6. The first I bought was an OEM Gates 38308 replacement from Amazon. I may have gotten a bad lemon, but it made a constant knocking noise after I installed a new one. and the straps still squeaked from time to time. I don't know what it was but I had to take a loss (Gates) and order this Dayco instead. While the setup was the same, I can confirm that the Dayco seemed a little more capable - and despite its value, itโ€ฆ

looks identical to the original

So far so good. I replaced it and a separate "ACDelco 36239" idler pulley on my 2006 Mazda6 (V6) a few weeks ago and it stopped the squeaky noise I heard in that area when the temperature was cool. This Dayco tensioner appears identical to the OEM except that the "Ford" logo has been removed. Despite being the same part, the new one took a lot more effort to put the strap back on. This may indicate that the original part spring has become slightly weaker, which could lead to slippage and thusโ€ฆ
