Seems to work well with shocks, struts and suspension

I've been using these on my 97' XJ with 3 1/2" lift and 31" tires for a couple of years now. The length was perfect to keep the tires from rubbing on the stock fender flares. Can be reduced in size to optimize articulation. However, I will say that setting them up is a hassle. Had to use a crowbar/crowbar and lots of wd-40 to deploy them.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Money well spent, installation is easy

thrown away. Installed this on my 99. No modifications needed. I removed what was left of the old ones, used some silicone spray lube and a hammer and they popped up right away. Holds up well after a year of daily and moderate driving. They can easily be shortened if you feel they are too long for your application. A great way to keep the fenders off the tires and keep the shocks from falling off. money well spent

Pros
  • Great construction

Great replacement for the old stock. especially for adding a 3 inch rise. An advice. I couldn't install them and then install new springs, even with the springs compressed. ) before installing the springs. Because you can't use them when the springs are on. I then managed to get them into the mounting holes (very tight) with a flat pry bar stuck between the coil spring just below the jounce bumper and then forced them into place.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Significantly stiffer material than factory fenders.

They're tricky to install, but that's because they're a lot stiffer than the original hand-inserted foam, which is probably what you and I want. The originals don't even come across as an effective hacker due to their softness. If you make a larger move with the stabilizer detached, the originals will crush like a loaf of bread. They really serve their purpose. But with a heavily pivoted axle it starts to push those out of the way too, which is why I recommend pairing them with hockey pucks in…

Great product better than OEM

They are made from much stronger material than OEM but still not rigid. Note that they are easy to shorten if you don't need the full length (I didn't). I used a small serrated wood saw. You can even install them at full height. If off-road riding shows they are too long (preventing full articulation), you can clip them without removing the springs. However, be careful not to cut the coil springs and do not use a hacksaw. To install, press into the pipe mount with constant pressure and wedge…
