Missing parts best in shocks, struts and suspension

I was a bit disappointed to find that the kit did not include nuts. The mother is also included in the photo. I bought this kit primarily for this reason as I destroyed my originals while disassembling.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Inexpensive lift - shocks, struts and suspension

Combined with Moog 81041 and 81088 coils lift is about 3 inches. It was easy to install. Runs just as well as it did from the factory. Have done a few 4x4 activities and no problems so far. The roller and spacer combo easily fits 33" tires.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Hard to tell

ideal for soft results

Easy to install and comes with hardware to extend the top of the stand mounting screws. Adds over 1 inch due to suspension geometry. It matched my 2000 Tundra perfectly to the stock rear end. With a bit of trim and 2-inch shims, this kit gets through 33s without friction.

Actual results differ from 1 inch

The thickness is definitely 1 inch, but it gives the car more than 1 inch lift due to the suspension design. I wish I had known that before ordering. This gave my 4runner just under 2 inches of total travel at the front end, measured in the wheel arches. Much higher than I expected when I bought a 1" lift pulley.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The trip is great!

Very happy with this purchase. Potential buyers should understand that a 1 inch spacer will give you 1.5 to 1.75 inches of lift. My 2001 4Runner rides much better with these spacers. I bought them after replacing shock absorbers and springs. Huge difference! I used a 15mm rear disc to even out the ride height. Know how much lift you can expect from that spacer and plan accordingly.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Works great although raised high enough to require rear end alignment.

After surviving several thousand miles in the field and having the nose up high enough, I finally installed the welded H-type grease fitting mounts. The spring's hard compression and the standard long screw and claw compressor didn't work. I ended up using a 20 ton press and spring compression plates which made it possible to mount the shocks to inexpensive Pro Comp shocks (I couldn't afford OEM Bilsteen replacements) even with front coilovers.

Pros
  • Perfect for the outdoors
Cons
  • Some minor things

Quick install Increased front sag

I installed these with new racks and they ride like they just rolled off the assembly line in 1998. Recommended if you are looking for space for the tires and still want to walk. Warehouse hanging products. This makes digging the tie rod end a little tricky, but if you're a good shade tree mechanic you'll figure it out. I installed them outside in the snow with over 30mph winds so it can't be that hard. Would buy again but would go a little bigger and upgrade to premium shocks.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Volume
