I had to get a sander with a sanding attachment and remove quite a bit of material to at least fit the jounce bumper bracket. Once it was close I had to oil it and use a jack to get this part in place. I'm still not sure if he will stay, but for now it is. I wouldn't waste my time on this unless you want to grind and reshape your parts to at least get close to a possible job.

Technically they fit in at the front where the springs are, but there is probably a half inch of clearance between them and the axle. So unfortunately I had to cut off a lot of it to make room so I wouldn't hit them every time I go through the slightest bump. As soon as it was installed I would have voted for it, if I had been driving I would crawl under it with a long serrated knife and saw off most of it. Now my shock absorbers have the necessary travel for a comfortable ride.

This fender will not fit my '96 Jeep Cherokee without extensive modification. I'm not the only one who had this problem, I found a solution from other Revain members who bought this product. I have used these with stock suspension and much improved front suspension rebound. If you have a soft lift and want it outdoors this is a great deal. Since it's the standard 5.9L ZJ height, it now rides on the fenders where the drain has a few inches of clearance. I'd suggest trimming 0.5 to 1 inch if you have headroom, but only because the rebound is too aggressive at highway speeds. As a reminder to anyone trying to replace stock fenders, these are 2" extended fenders. They are intended for use on vehicles with lift kits where the standard fenders are too short. This product is advertised as suitable for 1984-2006 Jeep Cherokee vehicles. I have a 1992 Jeep Cherokee and it will NOT fit the factory fender housing!
