I work on the assembly line at Toyota and have been looking for a "tool" backpack to suit my needs for a long time. Most of them are specially designed for maintenance work, electricians and the like. While this package is also ideal for these applications, it is also ideal for the assembly line manager. This is by far the most durable backpack I have ever seen. Tool bags are plentiful and well thought out. I've found the perfect place for everything from deodorant to tongs. Dead On Tools is a…
The product has the ability to run all five just a few glaring problems. The first thing to do is to remove the coated underside, which shows signs of wear after just 2 days of use. Next we have the zipper of the main compartment, if it were in the same plane as the surrounding fabric it wouldn't be that difficult to close as the zipper is against the surrounding fabric. Also, I'm just waiting for the weight of the tools in the bag to rip apart the laptop compartment since the full weight of…
I wanted to buy Veto but there were two things I didn't like about Veto. 1. No side pocket. 2. Too heavy. The Destroyer Tool Backpack has well-sized outer pockets that are easily accessible without opening the main compartment. This tool bag weighs about 7 pounds. Clever pockets and dividers. The cell phone pocket is too small for today's smartphones, but fits my flashlight perfectly. The zippers are large and feel heavy. The only thing that needs improvement are the straps. My shoulder hurts…
I work as a copier and printer and have used a CLC Carpentry bag (see photo) which has been fine for the past 3+ years of heavy use on the streets of Philadelphia. The main reason I liked it was the pocket on the front that held my electric fan. This dead-on bag has enough room for my fan and everything, and it has little pockets for the tools I use regularly. There are pockets on both sides for bottles of chemicals I use regularly (tape cleaner, alcohol, and glass cleaner). There is a laptop…
Great bag. Everything you would expect from this type of bag, including compartments and storage. I like it very much, apart from a few crucial weaknesses. Firstly I don't like the big skull on the back, I know it's subjective but it's too much, and secondly and more importantly it's the shoulder straps. They seem to have made an amazing backend and really put a lot of time into the interior design and then just didn't think about the rest. These shoulder straps have a very short actual pad…
Due to the price and the rating I was a bit hesitant to buy it but I am compelled to write a better review. I'm an audio/video specialist and need a laptop or sometimes two, a network switch, a set of cables, and some hand tools and meters. I needed a backpack to carry everything and this bag fits just right. Lots of storage space. It's actually bigger than the pictures and a lot bigger than other tool bags I've seen. Some people complain that it's heavy - it's no heavier than some dedicated…
I find it a bit heavy (it weighs almost 8 pounds without accessories) but there are pockets everywhere and all my essential tools now fit in one well-organized group. I'm so tired of digging through my old bag and getting hit by my drills and sharp tools so I finally bought this and damn I'm glad I have it. The zippers are large and seem reliable. There are no problems with the play of the teeth. The length of the zip is still a bit 'used' to being folded over (I think the bag was held open and
The package is big, maybe a little bigger than I expected, but it has everything I need. It seems to be well made of high quality materials, the bottom has nice texture and will definitely stand up to a working environment, and the backpack stands up very well on its own. I'm a stagehand and I often have AV gear that's little more than the small screwdrivers that most tool backpacks seem to fit, so big bags are a breath of fresh air. I love that the pack opens completely at the front. This…
