I really liked this product. It was made of wood and had a beautiful design. The plan was to paint the stanchion caps and mount them onto the deck stanchions, but I ordered the wrong size. The delivery was on time. Unfortunately I have to return the item.

I liked that they were pressure treated, took primer well and strong fence paint, easy to mount to posts and I like to use a deck screw to hold them in place . would love to replace the others, but for $7.90 each, the originals will be replaced as needed.

Well done, amazing workmanship. Two features: 1) protection of a column against water absorption (rotting) 2) high decorative effect. To make it last even longer, it is advisable to apply a sealant. But it should last 20+ years even in rainy Oregon. Much better than the crown type where the grain rises and absorbs water.

Very nicely made baseball caps. I painted/waterproofed them and they gave my old deck posts a nice look. Excellent quality! We contacted the seller because two of the 11 lids have a micro tear from side to side at the top with a request to replace them. request made today. Awaiting response from seller. JLP

I needed to replace the strut caps on a small bridge my husband built for me years ago. Some of the old caps fell off and broke so I bought new ones to replace them. They worked great even on old warped wood. The price for this was better than the gardening store where we bought the originals.

The caps have just been fitted to the perimeter fence and look fantastic. I was on a tight budget and the price was significantly lower than what I found locally; They also go well with the solar caps I bought. Arrived quickly and no one was hurt. The caps are painted white, so a slight green tint was not a problem on some. I can't say how long they will last in Southern California weather.

Purchased to replace 20 year old deck post plugs to add some class to a very old deck. Since they were still a bit damp I let them dry a bit before applying the hard stain. Of the 12, 4 developed somewhat excessive cleavage (cracking). Our deck is meant to be replaced sooner rather than later, so the cracks actually fit into the shabby chic, uh, charm.
