🎨 Deco Art 8-Ounce Ultra Matte Varnish Review

I love this polish. I wanted something that wouldn't alter the wood at all - even the clear matte finish you can buy seems to darken the wood a bit. Thanks to this wonderful material, my wood looked natural, exactly how I wanted it. Since this is my kitchen table and gets a lot of use I probably put 6-7 layers on it. He's holding up great!

I've used all the DecoArt polishes and I really like them. Ultra-Matt lives up to its name. A little goes a long way and provides a hard, durable, scratch and stain resistant finish. None of them yellowed my projects despite being made from water based urethanes. I will buy again and again.

Frustrating. I applied this over the chalk paint on the dresser and only now realize that my dyed clothes look yellowish. I thought my brush hit something, but as the paint dried the rest of the dresser turned yellow. I had to repaint my entire dresser (which took two 16 fl oz chalk paint to fill 75% of it the first time, so now I have to buy more) and now I wasted money and time completing this ruined my hard work. I have just purchased 2 x 8oz cans of your DecoArt Everlasting Chalk Paint and a 16oz can of your DecoArt Yesteryear Chalk Paint. I also bought DecoArt Chalky Ultra Matte Varnish. After spending several hours painting my project with your Chalky paint, I applied the paint EXACTLY as directed in your online videos and on the tin.
