I'm not sure if it's my sink or the way I installed the plumbing, but when I run the water the bubbles form merge directly below the holes, which allows the water to really flow. The pressure is then released randomly and the water flows through regularly. I also learned that I can run my finger over the holes to pop the bubbles and also allow the water to drain regularly. So funny, I didn't expect it. 🤷🏽‍♀️

This drain is in two parts and the top is too short for anything other than a shallow, narrow sink. Anything else and you won't be able to attach the bottom piece properly and tightly as it will hit the top nut. Since the return period has expired (like most things you order for repairs, 30 days is too short) I had to make my own waterproof seal and fill everything around the top with silicone to make sure it didn't break. not expire. Just terrible design.

I have read reviews and answered questions. I have a 1 1/2" thick resin top with no overflow at the drain attachment point. I really like the look, and without an overflow I didn't want the drain to be airtight. Although the photos show the 2 5/8" long thread hardly fits on the sink. The problem is that the extension tube is held by the collet and gasket and hits the mounting nut. I had to unscrew it with a wrench, very afraid of damaging the drain.
