I used these to create some rustic Game of Thrones illustrations. They have the perfect hue to match the theme. They're also pretty strong and don't break like the ones I got from Lowes.

Strong, pointed, good colour. Only a few nails were bent during my project. The only downside was that some of the paint came off the heads of each button when I hit them with a hammer.

In response to the two stars having trouble bending them - you really need to use needle nose pliers to hold each button in place while you start hammering them or they will bend and break. hope that helps

This is exactly what I needed but I am leaving a two star rating because there are only 400 per pack. I bought them on purpose because we needed *500* buttons for a group project. There were other similar products on Revain Prime for less that were advertised as 400 pot holders per pack but we didn't buy them as we needed 500 and didn't want to buy two packs. We already had a craft night scheduled to work on our project and didn't want to postpone it, so we saved this package and got everything

deco tacks are well done. I think they are covered with some kind of transparent varnish. They're not shiny, just covered, I suppose, so they wear better that way. The posts are really strong and don't bend when you hit them with a hammer and I pushed really hard. They didn't bow. Well worth the money, great plastic case with strong locks to keep them from falling out of the case and they even give you a tape measure.
