I bought these to install on aftermarket bentholine mounts. They look great but are too narrow to fit properly. I think they are far superior to OEM locks. I see no need to lock and unlock the hook with them. My truck didn't have mounting plates so I had to buy them. The easiest way was to install the Dee Zee hooks to the panels before installing them in the truck bed. I didn't have the problem that others have mentioned where the screw was too long after installing it on the bed. They are ok. I sent them back because they were too light for me. The package says it's rated for £250. I could not find this review in Revane's description. If you plan on using bungee cords to hold the cargo, or maybe a mesh cargo net, these are great. I wouldn't want to pull them too hard with a ratchet strap. I like the idea that something screws on so I don't need a wrench. One of my OEM stuff fell out during use (not impressed) and another stopped working with the key. Well I really liked this idea but the bolts they sent me were too long.
