Ribbon is fine. that gives you enough length. You need to cut parts for the brake pads. The strap on the back does. Overall not very soft, the old tape was much softer. Wouldn't buy again. Pay $10 more for something better.

Pros: Bright colors Thick product Expandable end caps Cons: No extra strip to cover the levers! I think you could cut a strip off at the end. All other brands have provided extras alongside this. The tape was dry and the creases of the backing paper were stained on the front because it was folded tightly. The enclosure must be designed to hide the transition inside or below the grille. Used my own finishing tape.

I had a lot of tape to wrap around my 44cm rungs (a few more inches left and right). Very comfortable and durable. I found the finishing tape worked well, being long enough and sticky enough. The bar end caps are too small (deduct 1 star) but I had a few extra parts floating around in the garage so it's not a problem for me (keep your old ones!). I would recommend this band, especially at this price point.

Easy to use and very easy to install. The end tape wasn't very good and the end cap didn't fit, but that doesn't take away from my overall satisfaction with this product. I purposely tore off a piece of the end of the roll to measure how much tension I can put on the tape during installation and it seems very strong. I assume it's durable based on this test. As you can see from the photos, the overall result looks great!

*Pro: The bandage is great for the price! Finally, the film isn't even sticky, the sticky part is on the white plastic, not the tape. *Overall the product is very good, however I had to use tape instead of the tape provided, I also taped the end caps to keep them from falling out.
