Deiss® Dual Julienne Vegetable Peeler Review

I bought this to chop up carrots for salads and used it for a lot of other things... I've used it to peel potatoes and apples and it worked great. It cut my time in half to make an apple pie that is always good. I also used a side loop to take out some of the core of the apple after slicing it open and it worked like a charm. This is a tough, heavy duty tool that should last a long time!

This is such a handy kitchen tool. I like to make kale salad with chicken and sometimes I add carrots for color. When I grated the carrots on my grater, the pieces were too soft and turned the whole cabbage orange. I found this remedy at Revain and decided to give it a try. It's perfect for salads! The tool is so easy to use. The blade is very sharp. I'm so glad I found this kitchen tool!

My new best friend in the kitchen. I make homemade julienne vegetable soup and this little creature is delicious! I usually spend about thirty minutes cooking veggies with a chef's knife, but this little guy was done in about ten minutes. It's like holding a mini mandolin in your hands. However, it must be handled with the same care as the small teeth/blades are very sharp. Care should be taken when cleaning and I recommend keeping it in the product packaging out of the reach of children.

The Deiss Pro Dual Julienne Peeler is a very sharp instrument. The metal guard and sharpness are dangerously sharp and can make julienne peel even the toughest of vegetables like carrots. I've had enough of lots of different devices to get Julian hard veggies like bits and carrots only to return them and wasting my time. I wanted to make carrot paste and this is just what I need! Peeler: Cleans perfectly. It's not like other knives that clean too much. This peels off and barely removes any excess from the underside! He's smooth! The little things on the side work great. A small one on the side removes the eyes, and a large one cuts grooves. I bought this in February 2015 and it's still sharp! Excellent blades. This product isn't bad, but based on the "customer" reviews, you might think it's amazing. I haven't found it any easier to use, especially when peeling, and it leaves tiny ridges on veggies or fruit that I don't really find attractive. I wish I found this sooner! It looks a bit complicated in photos, but it's actually as simple as toggling the tool to the feature you want to use. First, it's very sharp.
