Easy to use and does the job of magnetizing and demagnetizing. Works with bits that need to be magnetized if there is enough metal in them. I have several sets of bits and they work, but I also have a set of cheap metal bits and the magnetizer doesn't magnetize them. That way I could at least say it was a poor quality set. Not much to say here, just two powerful magnets of opposite polarity in a plastic case. We're not talking advanced technology here. But it definitely works. The plastic case isn't flimsy, but feels a bit flimsy. But it doesn't weigh much, so a fall from a 10-foot ladder should be fine. And even if you end up cracking the case, it doesn't negatively affect the functionality of the tool itself.
