DO NOT DO THAT! FIRE HAZARD! DELL CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST

I had problems with this laptop from the start including it almost setting my house on fire due to the hot night time. Technicians said these are non-standard problems. The laptop should not be flammable when delivered. Do not buy! Not sure! Customer Service Terrible! All of the features seem cool, but it's not worth bothering with Dell or your family's safety.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Damaged

Not happy with it in 2-in-1 notebooks

I'm not happy with it. This is the same computer as the one I bought in 2017, just different. One thing I hate is that I had to buy a dongle so I could plug in my monitor, keyboard and mouse. The other didn't have to. The fingerprint reader is finicky, which is annoying because I keep logging in and getting this error message, but my biggest issue is the keyboard. I don't know what they did with it but it's not the chiclet style of the older model, it's almost too flat for my liking, feels like

  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great

The open box does not work well.

I received the product in an open box. It was difficult to work with a wireless mouse and keyboard through a USB hub. Several times it crashed when I unplugged it and closed the lid. The fingerprint scanner and the IR camera for face recognition are also no longer recognized. leaving too many questions in the first two weeks. However, overall I am very happy with the laptop and will be ordering from Dell. I'm sorry that Revain sent an open box with an obviously defective product to a longtime…

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

BEWARE! Paid full price new and got it used!

The laptop works "ok" at the moment, apart from problems with WiFi that everyone was having and applications like Netflix and Hulu not working properly. Another cause for concern is the packaging. I'm pretty sure they sent me a used product considering it came in a cheap box and not the original XPS box/packaging. Also, the laptop itself wasn't even wrapped in plastic or padding or anything, and I'm on a military base in Iraq. You'd think if you spend over $1,500 and go for the "new" option…

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Not the best

I like the keyboard, the webcam is terrible (updated)

Other reviews don't downplay the quality of the webcam - it's terrible. The quality is way worse than I expected from a $1600 2020 laptop. The keyboard is very comfortable. I'm a mechanical keyboard person, and while I usually hate flat keyboards, I liked the keyboard on this laptop so much that it became a deciding factor when considering multiple options. Handles small games great, looks professional and would recommend to anyone using it for non-webcam purposes. Update: This laptop is…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Overpriced Dell Chromebook

The laptop I received did not meet the specifications. The build quality was terrible. It was supposed to be a Dell XPS 13 9310, but it looked like a Dell 3100 Chromebook. There's a $1,500 price difference between the two models, but Revain seems to have thought they were the same. I wouldn't buy this laptop unless you want an overpriced Chromebook.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Neutral
