So this is the first 4k monitor I'm buying. Now we can say that there is no 4k yet and it is imperceptible and what is wrong, but to each his own. Update 09/14/2016: I had to return this monitor, although I really liked it, because my MBP 2011 just couldn't display 4k in full resolution at 60Hz - I could only do 4k at max. 30 Hertz. Trust me, if you can't drive 4k at 60Hz, don't bother with 4k. 30Hz is just awful to work with. I would keep it if I could afford another computer that supports 4k playback. I had to return it because I really liked the quality of the display even at 30Hz - it was so sharp and clear it didn't tire my eyes at…

Exceptional purchase, great price, great Revain service

One of my best monitor purchases. Note that it has a matte finish and the grainy white colors can sometimes be distracting when reading a webpage or a book. There are many fans of the matte finish, but I'm one of the few who prefer the glossy screen. Great as a second monitor on an iMac 5K (and Win10 in bootcamp)

I received this monitor today and have been using it for several hours. I usually wait before writing a review but thought it might be helpful to others as my setup is a bit different than most. After owning it for about a month I finally have some thoughts for those who are considering buying it. I'm using it on a 2013 MacPro with D700 graphics cards running OS X 10.10 and 10.11.
