I wanted to work, but unfortunately it didn't work out

An attempt to connect two external displays was unsuccessful. I've spent some time trying different things and was able to get either the HDMI port or the Display port to work, one port at a time, but no more than one. Gave up and bought another docking station.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Compatibility

Good news/bad news good for notebook accessories

It kind of does what it's supposed to, but it's a mixed bag. First, it powers my Dell XPS 13 9300, drives two HD monitors (the monitors are connected to the dock via DisplayPort), offers Ethernet, and multiple additional USB ports via a single Thunderbolt connection. It's great, and who can complain about the one connector that connects everything to the laptop. In return, the dock's fan is loud. Not loud like in an aircraft carrier cockpit, but loud enough. And it doesn't take long to run this

Defective product and unfriendly customer service

Out of the box, the USB ports on the docking station didn't work. This does happen and in itself is not a big problem. However, the normal Revain returns and exchanges process did not apply. I had to wait for a call from "Tech Support" to issue a refund. The caller knew NOTHING about the product, didn't apologize for the difficulties and seemed very suspicious that I was running some kind of scam. He reluctantly agreed to the return, but briefly informed me that the refund would not be…

Not cheap but works great

I got another one that should work with Dell and probably will work, but not with a bit locker. So I had to buy this one and it just doesn't work cheap.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Frequency

Works Great - Docking Stations

Components: Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (this is not a 2 in 1 with 7590) Single Port TB3.WD19TB(2) B247W 24 inch 16:10 By the way , this dock works with a single TB3 connection for power and data. Everything worked for me right away as all my drivers were up to date after trying to get the Caldigit TS3 Plus to work. I first tried the Caldigit TS3 Plus started based on the mostly positive reviews from various websites but was disappointed as I still need a DC case and a TB3 to get everything working…

Dock works but wrong power supply

Thunderbolt Dock works but does not come with the correct power supply (135W). If you are powering your laptop through a Thunderbolt connection, you will need a 135W+ power adapter. Without this, the BIOS will fail to boot on power failure, so you need to open the laptop and avoid the laptop mouse/keyboard error. Luckily I had an optional Dell 220w AC adapter which solved the problem but it's annoying to have to fix the problem right away.

One of the two didn't work

I bought two WD19 Thunderbolt docking stations. One for home, one for work. One works quite well, even great. but the other dock never seems to turn on properly. The power indicator flashes twice, the fan inflates briefly and then turns off. Pressing the power button on the station has no effect. The USB cable indicator never lights up. Please note that I have reinstalled all updated drivers and the first dock works fine but the second never turns on. Please note that I changed the power…
