My favorite toy for our macaws because it keeps them busy for a long time, but the ropes aren't so long that I'm afraid of wrapping them around the birds' necks unattended. Great value for money and also in comparison to others.

My Gray Parrot loves this toy. This is the perfect size for medium sized parrots. She can pick apart hanging pieces and decide what to bite and destroy. I found it a little pricey but overall I'm happy with it because she loves to ruin it so much.

As you can see, my bird Kimba devoured all the wooden blocks in a relatively short time. This is a 25 year old Lemon Cockatoo. It lasted less than two weeks - too fast for me for a $33 toy. But to be honest, she really liked it.

this picture shows a hyacinth macaw which for all bird lovers is the largest of the macaw species, they made this toy huge but its not at all! perhaps it is more suitable for African gray. my green-winged macaw destroyed it in 1 hour! very disappointed.

The item pictured next to the very large macaw gives the impression that this toy is large and has large blocks for birds such as macaws and large parrots. This is a blatant distortion of its size. The blocks are so small that even a small parrot will destroy them fairly quickly. Ara will destroy this toy in a few hours at most.

WARNING! Not for macaws - better for small parrots. We went shopping for hours and when we got home we found a small round wooden ball stuck firmly in the top of my macaw's beak! The poor bird obviously couldn't eat or swallow for God knows how many hours. Almost cost us an expensive vet visit but I wrapped it in a towel and kept poking at the ball with a teaspoon to knock the ball out and finally got it done after about 20 minutes. He's really stuck there! I immediately threw this toy away…

Could this be a toy for a little bird? My birds quickly destroyed this toy. It didn't take long as it seemed like it would fall apart on its own as well. Ropes are a weak point. For the price, it was a worthy sacrifice to the bird gods. I saw them destroy $75 toys over the weekend. But they do, and that's what toys are for. I only wish they showed a generic item behind the toy to give a better idea of the size. He's not big at all. I'm not sure I would buy it again, but I'm not entirely…

I've been looking for a toy that can withstand my bird's steel beak for months.
