Deloky Chicken Xylophone Toy with 8 Metal Keys: Interactive Musical Fun for Kids Review

I was very excited to get this for my chickens but unfortunately it doesn't last. The mirror is broken. The xylophone seems too loose and cheaply made. My chicken feet get stuck in it when they scratch it. I would not recommend that.

The package arrived well wrapped and the items inside were in good condition. If I misread the description, we only received a xylophone and a mirror/grindstone. The vegetable skewers were not in the package. Disappointing, but we use a xylophone and a mirror. There's no point in going back.

The mirror toy is just a shiny piece of metal. It's nowhere near a real mirror, you definitely can't see a reflection in it. The xylophone fell apart within the first week. We keep sticking it together, but I'm sure we'll need a new one soon. Maybe the glue didn't stand up to daily washing.

I was really hoping and half expecting that they would last a little longer. A mirror and vegetable skewer work well, but the xylophone is a word and string wrapped around metal keys once it gets wet and falls apart instantly. Of course I still used it in the barn with my chickens but I wish it had lasted a little longer.

First, the mirror is not a real mirror. This is the price for the murky plastic covering the wood. My chickens don't really see themselves in it, but they still peck it to death. The musical toy doesn't make any noise, but then again, they peck at it. A hanger to hang groceries on is fine. The small screw holding the bottom is difficult to tighten. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. You get what you pay for. All in all, I think it was worth the cheap price.

I bought these for my chickens to keep them busy in the enclosure for part of the day until I get home so they can run around freely . It was interesting to experiment with the xylophone. The sound sounds better when you hit it with something metallic. The grill works great. I put an apple on it and the hens chased it while it was tied. The bell toy was fun. Good price. But you get what you paid for. The xylophone is the least trashy, but the hardware that supports it is pathetic.
