Very easy installation on 2000 Chevrolet Silverado with 5.3L engine. The only thing I recommend is after you install it and start the car, don't touch the gas pedal, it will rev over excessively while the ECM is programming it. Run it a few times and you should be fine.

Installed to isolate an idle problem I was having with my LS1 marine engine. After installation I've had trouble starting the boot cold every time, which has never been a problem. I ended up pulling it out and the entire internal assembly fell apart. I put the original part back in (since it wasn't a problem anyway) and the cold start problem was gone.

Should have bought this instead of fumbling around with the retrofit part, easy installation, retraining took longer than installation. already adjusted to the desired length. If it's an electrical part, the factory part might cost a little more, but saves you the trouble of doing it twice.

Bought for my 2001 Chevy Tahoe I had a high idle problem in park or idle. I initially thought it was a problem. Unfortunately, replacing it didn't solve the problem. Once the actual problem is solved, it works as intended. The old one didn't look like it was in great shape so I wasn't too upset that I replaced it.

Perfect fit and easy replacement. Use carburetor cleaner (perfect for spraying) or some petrol on a rag to wipe away the soot (I suspect it's a bit trickier) since the alternator is fairly close to this area. Finally the truck is idling like it should on a cold morning. You'll spend a few bucks more, maybe compared to a discount store, but you can't beat the price because it works and fits the way the manufacturer intended.
