Error at 53.4 miles.

The product was defective. I installed it correctly using the instructions that came with it and was on my way again. Filled up with gas, drove about 500 meters and the device broke.

Failed on one day's drive

In the video the new pump after the failure, in the photo the old pump. both failed at the same point on the diaphragm. The new pump failed the day after it was installed, after driving about 30 miles to and from work, started a few times and ran fine, but then died about 1/2 mile from my house.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Something else

Arrived defective right out of the box

This fuel pump failed the first day it was installed it just started spurting fuel out of the drain valve suggesting the internal circuitry was defective at the factory was, so was a waste of time and money. Honestly I just went to my local auto parts store and bought a good one

Pros
  • Fuel system
Cons
  • Not the best

Failed twice for Mechanical Fuel Pumps

First pump failed after 60 miles. Was exchanged under warranty. The second pump leaked outside after 500 miles and spattered onto the block and engine mount. None of them managed to get the fuel pressure regulator to work properly. The second pump was not under warranty so I went with a different but well known brand, Carter. Works great with fpr and has had over 1k so far with no issues.

Pros
  • Mechanical Fuel Pumps
Cons
  • Short Manual
