📻 Delphi SA10042 XM Radio Roady Remote Control: Discontinued Model with Enhanced Features Review

This is the exact same remote control that came with the radio so it's easy to use. Apparently it had been in use as it wasn't in bubble wrap like in the picture but as both the radio and remote were discontinued by the manufacturer I was lucky to have found it in the first place. Thank you Revain for introducing me to a retailer so I could purchase it. Without them my radio wouldn't work.

I bought this remote based on other people's reviews. I'm so glad I went with the positive comments. For $3.59 I couldn't ask for a better accessory for my XM Onyx radio. I put the battery (which came with it) in the remote, pointed it at my XM and it worked great. I can even control it when it's attached to my visor. There were no instructions but I was able to find them by doing a similar search. If you are looking for a remote control for ONYX you will not be disappointed.

This remote control makes my driving safer! I clip it to my seatbelt so I don't have to reach across the dash every time I want to switch stations. Even better, the "scan" feature is a lot of fun. The Roady II is a great product but if your eyes aren't what they used to be you'll find that the little knobs will be a problem for both of you. and work in a jumping vehicle. The buttons on this remote control are conveniently located, making them easy to find. It keeps you from looking down and taking your eyes off the road (the main reason I bought it). The keys also glow in the dark. The size is perfect. Feels good on hand. No delays were noticed when using it for my roady2 receiver. Right, I had to get the battery because the pharmacy had it. I was thinking about removing the BIOS battery from one of my computers.
