This edge looks nice and allows me to pull out the sliding door when I need to close it. It seems well made and spring loaded so the bar doesn't stick out when not in active use.

I ordered two of these and was not impressed with the quality or finish of any of them. I had to file down one side of both handles a bit to allow the springs to pull them in and make them flush with the rest. Both handles were mounted at an angle so that they do not retract flush. Would I buy them again, NO!

Good quality and strong spring tension construction for the price. To convert a non-latching swing door to a pocket door I simply used round blanks to fill the holes in the handle and got this pull to replace the latch. This is an attractive mortise design for use in a new panel door but is not suitable to properly fit and fill an existing strike plate hole. It looks like either wood putty or dutch patch and then drilling to install this piece. Of course, a more mature upgrade part would be…
